I would increase the focus on 'consequences and outcomes' learning within the education system. It seems our population is becoming less focused on responsibility for their own actions and so focused on the today that they forget the action will have an outcome tomorrow. The result is a reactionary spiral where they are fixing problems that they should have been able to see if they knew to look forward.

Hopefully the positive result of this would be minds that are enabled to design strategy for a destination that excites them.

Much of this is also parental (for which I'm no expert on that part) - but my work wit the National Youth Forum confirms kids want boundaries and they want to know about consequences - they just don't get it and it's having a negative impact on future generations.

That's what I'd like to do for a sustainable difference. :-)
