For the past two weeks I have been in the United Kingdom on business and have used the London Underground Rail system on numerous occasions. It is a great system with a train coming every few minutes to a multitude of designations. I have been flabbergasted, given the frequency of the trains, that many people run up and down escalators and run for trains as if their life depended on it.
It has struck me how much most of us rush about and yet most of the time we don't need to be in a rush!
Take the time in your life to stop and enjoy the moment. Reflect on how much you rush about and decide to rush less and be more considered. For me this means less stress and more joy in our lives.

Our Prime Minister calls it ‘mass murder, and I agree with him
Bushfires still ravage the State of Victoria in Australia. More than 170 people have died in what is our worst natural disaster or so called because it is believed the fire was deliberately lit. Our Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has called this ‘mass murder’ and I believe he is right.
Good will come out of this. It always does.
In the meantime please join me and thousands of others in spairing a moment or two for the many families affected and all those working desparately to bring the fire to an end, and if you can donate blood or money to the Red Cross
Best wishes

Are you waiting or creating?
Everyday I meet people waiting: business waiting for government; government waiting for business; folk waiting for the economy to improve; people waiting to see whether President Obama can bring about change (he can’t on his own) People waiting ...
I also meet the “pessimistic optimists”, now that is a paradox.
The good news is I am also meeting people not waiting, rather they are getting on with with the job of building a new world.
Are you waiting or creating?
